Writing

Based on Hope
and non-exisitant family

Hope was born into this world alone.

She said goodbye to her sisters Peace and Love as left the womb. There was an undeniable spiritual connection with her sisters, but the memories of them faded quickly as life took over. Her sisters were family she lived without.

Her life had not been easy… A roller coaster of ups and downs as you would expect in this theme park of that we call life.

Hope was again dealing with extreme changes in life and entering into a new chapter. She needed to take time to reflect so she sat in her favorite spot at her favorite beach and in no time felt right at home and felt like the world had their arms around her. It was at this moment that she realized that the feeling of home was Peace and the arms wrapped around her were Love.

As she reflected back on her life, she realized Peace and Love had always been there she had just never taken the time to knowledge them and truly appreciate their presence

She remembered many times that she sought out this feeling of home and a warm hug. She realized that it was up to her to seek out Peace and Love because they were always right there with her. Their only non-existence was in her own limitations

Upon Further reflection, she started making a list of the times they were close to her and realized this was a guide to keep peace and love close. Then she imagined all the places, peace, and love could be if you only allowed them.

As she put her guide into practice and Peace and Love came in abundance. She then realized that Joy had also appeared.

She had completely forgotten about her sister Joy and it took Peace and Love to help her remember.

The Ascent

The journey from forced change, it implies not just survival but triumphant self-creation with vibrant colors of hope.

You are embarking on a new adventure- unwanted, yet unfolding -one that has yet to be written along a path yet to be created. You are now painting your own way forward, brushing color into the unknown, shaping a future that is still finding its way.

Do not fear this new path, embrace it and hold on to everything that makes you who you are. Explore. Create. Remember. Sustain. Follow your heart. Love, and embrace joy for it is a part of you.

Along this new path you may at times encounter mountains with rocks and tough terrain to maneuver, storms that rage, rain that falls relentlessly and darkness that appears to obstruct your way. Joy may seem difficult to find - it may feel elusive - but it will always be there for you. Search between the crevices of the rocks; look between the flashes of lightning during the storm. Let the rain cleanse you.

The clouds will clear - and the bright sun will shine down on you again.

Even after the longest storms, light finds its way through – warming you by day and at night the light of the moon will guide you through the darkness in its glow. Joy will come to sit beside you, to guide you, and to hold you - and the beauty of life will surround you.

Begin the ascent by giving yourself grace-the gentle gift of compassion and patience.

Paint your path with glorious colors letting love and light create the joy that becomes your canvas.

The Unwelcomed Guest

As the pain ravishes through my body, I try to endure. My mind fights to stay strong, but tears fall in an endless cycle, a rhythm with no resolution, no consistency. Pain is not my friend; it’s an unwelcome guest that shows no respect, invading my body and my spirit.

I want to scream, but there’s no one to hear. I want to cry, but tears bring no relief. I live in this paradox, forced to share space with pain, forced into a relationship I never chose. It knocks at my door incessantly, demanding entry, refusing to leave. Sometimes life doesn’t give you options—no amount of good faith, positive thinking, or dietary changes can evict this unyielding companion.

I long for better days—days where hope feels tangible, where life with chronic illness feels less like a battle and more like living.

The journey of pain and chronic illness isn’t about finding a cure or getting better; it’s about learning how to coexist with it. But I still yearn for life—real life—before time slips away. Like the planet renewing itself through seasons and the moons phases of change, I search for renewal within myself.

Every storm runs out of rain, they say—but this storm does not run out of rain, it just rages harder on certain days.

And yet, I hold on despite my anger, despite my exhaustion, despite the part of me that wants to give up. Because even when the rain is at its fiercest, there is a quiet whisper, a fragile promise that the rain will ease. I cling to that hope, yearning for the strength to endure and hold on.
